EU emergency number

Unique EU emergency number 112 is available to all Croatian citizens and tourists to access emergency services in all emergency situations.

By calling the toll-free 112 number you can request assistance from all emergency services in the Republic of Croatia.
The 112 operator shall immediately be notified of your location once the call is made.
The 112 number is available around the clock in English, German, Italian, Hungarian, Czech and Slovakian language.

By dialling 112, the following actions can be initiated:

  • Search and rescue operations on land and at sea
  • Emergency air transport of the injured person, an organ or a transplant team, search and rescue teams or firefighters

  • Activating competent operational forces and civil protection system members
